Oral history interview with Bill Wambsganss, 1963 Aug. 14.

Interview conducted by Larry Ritter for use in his book "The Glory of their times : the story of the early days of baseball told by the men who played it". Bill Wambsganss discusses playing baseball in college while studying to be a minister. He remembers his unassisted triple play in the fifth game of the 1920 World Series. Followed by an inspirational poem Bill memorized which sums up the ending of his baseball career.
